Just for fun!

Tim wearing Larry as a scarf. There's a video that accompanies this but I have been forbidden to share it. :)

Let's Play Dodger Baseball!

One of the perks of Tim working in a private school is that many of the parents will often offer a game from their season tickets to many of the Los Angeles' many attractions to teachers. He's seen the LA Kings with some of the guys from work and even "peed next to Cuba Gooding Jr." while at the private after party at the Staple's Center.

I have finally been available to reap one of these benefits. Our good friend Jane was offered 4 tickets to the "Dug Out Club" at Dodger Stadium. It wasn't a particularly exciting game but the dugout club alone is worth it! The all-you-can-eat buffet includes prime rib, crab legs, parmesan polenta, gourmet sausages and so much more. I was so full I almost had to waddle out to our seat... which happened to be 2nd ROW BEHIND HOME PLATE!!! The all you can eat followed us there! I was too full to even look at the menu but I did ask for a bag of peeling peanuts and cracker jack (It is a ball game).

We had a blast with Jane and our other teaching buddy Drew. Being in the second row allowed me to get an up close and personal look at the opposing team in their wonderfully tight baseball pants. I even got to see a couple of the DGs from USC I advise. Tim got to add to his "famous people I've peed next to list" by being in the bathroom with Arsenio Hall (It was a slow night in the dugout club). It was a GREAT night with great friends!
Don't you just love baseball pants!
Casey Blake. If he can't play for the Indians he may as well be a Dodger!

Here it is!

Well, folks, here it is! Our first official family blog. I had such an great time writing my bride's blog (until wedding planning was in full force and there was no time to blog) and people really seemed to enjoy all the updates of what was happening during our engagement.

There really isn't anything miraculously exciting going on in our lives out here but we are having fun and doing interesting things and we wanted to share them with our friends and family. Los Angeles is quite a ways away from many of those we love and this is just our way of giving you an extra special glimpse into our ever changing life together. Check back often and enjoy!

XOXO
